For pupil potential at KS4, progress and attitudinal measures...You need Yellis

Yellis is a monitoring and assessment tool for schools for use throughout KS4.

Yellis can be used by all secondary schools, is easy to implement, cost effective and produces valuable information to facilitate school improvement.

Using Yellis, teachers can monitor and measure pupils’ performance by subject during KS4, and benefit from a wealth of information specific to their school and pupils, to aid school self evaluation.

Robust, accurate and confidential, Yellis is part of a suite of monitoring systems established by the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM). Part of Durham University, CEM is recognised around the world for its pioneering educational research and school monitoring, and is a trusted supplier of education assessment systems. It is a supplier of tests to schools in over 36 countries worldwide - over one million pupils will be taking one or more CEM tests this academic year.

For general information about Yellis, please contact the Yellis team by telephone on 0191 334 4200 or by e-mailing yellis@cem.dur.ac.uk.

07-Jun-09INSIGHT Feedback 2009
We are pleased to announce that assessment feedback, predictions to GCSE and attitudinal feedback is NOW available for the INSIGHT and SOSCA curriculum based assessments.

INSIGHT and SOSCA, taken at the end of Year 9, are alternatives to KS3 SATs. They offer computer-delivered adaptive assessments in Maths, Science and Reading. Results are reported as Key Stage 3 equivalent levels and standardised scores against nationally representative norms. Progress measures from the MidYIS assessment at the start of secondary school to the end of Year 9 and from the end of Year 9 to GCSE are also included in the cost. Additionally INSIGHT provides informative measures of developed ability to provide a full picture of what your pupils know and can do.
